Board Member
Megan Mescher-Cox is a member of the kidSTREAM board of directors. She grew up in Camarillo and attended Emory University in Atlanta Georgie where she received a bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Chemistry. She attended Osteopathic Medical School at Kansas City University in Kansas City, Missouri. She now works as a physician with a strong focus on disease prevention and treatment with lifestyle factors in addition to traditional treatments. Her work as a physician brings a unique perspective to the board as she focuses on wellness and has significant roots and connections to the community. She was inspired to join the kidSTREAM board after visiting the Denver children’s museum with her family and seeing their faces light up as they were learning and playing. Learning about the long-term outcomes of children with early STEM education further sparked a drive to get involved!
